Samsung is all set to host the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10, where the South Korean tech giant is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones — the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. Rumors abound. around these handsets, forthcoming. However, the company has yet to go into detail about the two upcoming foldable smartphones. Now, a tipster has claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could have Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
According to a tweet from tipster Ahmed Qwaider (@AhmedQwaider888), the Galaxy Z Fold 4 may have Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the back and bezels. This protective panel was originally used by Samsung on the Galaxy S22 series. It is believed to withstand extreme conditions.
Kipper also claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will support 25W fast charging, similar to the Galaxy Fold 3. However, it claims to charge the 4,400mAh battery to 50 percent in a 30-minute charge — a significant increase over its predecessor.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which can generate a 15 percent improvement in CPU performance compared to its predecessor. GPU and NPU performance are also expected to increase to 59 percent and 68 percent, respectively. In addition, the smartphone is expected to have a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

The Galaxy Z Fold is expected to come in Beige, Gray Green and Phantom Black colors. A recent report suggests that prices for the smartphone could start from €1,863 (approximately Rs. 1,50,000) at launch.
