If you're looking for a cheap Android 5G phone, Samsung has the back cover for the Galaxy A32 5G (Rs.49,900 Expected). Excellent battery life, solid performance, and many years of promised Android upgrades and security updates ensure that you will enjoy this cheap phone for a long time. Other than a low-resolution screen, there's little to like about the Galaxy A32 5G; is excellent value and a winner of our Editors' Choice Award for budget-friendly 5G phones.
The low resolution never looked so good
Galaxy A32 5G is an attractive phone. It has a plastic back panel and chassis but doesn't look like the cheap budget phones of the past. Unfortunately, he quickly collected fingerprints and scratches on the hairline during the test.
Weight And Display Of Samsung Galaxy A32 5G
The phone measures 6.5 x 3.0 x 0.4 inches and weighs 7 grams. This is a typical weight for a phone with a 6.5-inch screen, but the Galaxy A32 5G's slim finish makes it more prone to drops than models with a textured back. The phone slipped out of my hands several times while I was testing it. Fortunately, the plastic case and Gorilla Glass 5 screen withstood this madness.
The front of the Galaxy A32 5G is dominated by a 6.5-inch LCD display with a broken spirit level and clear edges. The resolution is 1600 x 720 pixels, up to 270 pixels per inch. The screen is bright and vibrant and you'll be pressing hard to notice pixels without examining it carefully. That said, it doesn't compare to the cheaper 6.49-inch, 2,400 by 1,080-pixel 90Hz OnePlus Nord N200 5G display.
Instead of the exceptional camera module, you see on most Samsung phones, the Galaxy A32 5G has three separate sensor dents positioned vertically in the top left corner of the back panel. To the right of that is another sensor aligned with the phone along with the flash.
The top of the phone is bare and the USB-C charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker grille fill the bottom of the case. On the left, you will find the SIM/microSD slot. The right side is home to the volume lashes and a power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The sensor is fast and accurate, and the buttons provide satisfying tactile feedback when pressed. The volume dial is hard to reach if you have small hands.
Sustainability is a mixed bag. The Galaxy A32 5G has no IP rating and I couldn't find anything about water resistance on Samsung's website. Got into a strong storm outside while using the phone and noticed no damage but if you throw it in a pool all bets are off.
Alternatively, the plastic container and chassis should withstand minor scratches and drops without major damage. For example, the Gorilla Glass 5 display panel, which is unusual for phones in this price range, is significantly inferior to the use of Gorilla Glass 3 for most people.
Excellent 5G
Samsung sells the Galaxy A32 5G through AT&T and T-Mobile online. The phone also runs on Verizon and has solid support for LTE and the 5G band below 6GHz.
Please note that if you are an AT&T customer, you do not need to purchase the discontinued version of the Galaxy A32 5G. However, some versions of this device will be brought to our network from other carriers. In this case, we provide free replacement phones to qualified customers.
Battery life Of Samsung Galaxy A32 5G
Galaxy A32 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G disk drive with 4GB RAM. There is 64 GB of storage, of which about 46 GB is available out of the box. If that's not enough, you can add external storage with an additional microSD card.
Overall performance is good. Applications open faster and there is almost no delay in screen transfer. Multitasking doesn't slow down the phone either. The initial launch process takes a bit longer than the Nord N200 5G, but it's hard to notice the difference unless you pay close attention.
If you're a casual gamer playing Candy Crush on your morning shuttle, the Galaxy A32 5G will be just fine. However, hardcore gamers will find that the phone fits poorly.
Camera Review Of Samsung Galaxy A32 5G
The rear camera stack includes a 48MP primary lens with f / 1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with f / 2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro lens with f / 2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is also a 13 MP camera on the front with an f / 2.2 aperture.
The main lens of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G captures the best images in most light scenarios. Like most phones in this class, the Galaxy A32 5G captures solid images in good light. The test images with the primary lens were sharp and vivid with the natural depth of field. The ultra-wide lens also does an admirable job, but I noticed a bit of background noise in many of the pictures.
With good lighting and stable hands, the Galaxy A32 5G's macro lens can take a reasonable shot. My best test photos, taken after much trial and error, were flat with some good detail loss. Worst of all was the gift of impressions.
For low-light images with a primary lens, the Galaxy A32 5G outperforms the Nord N200 5G. I noticed some noise and fine detail loss in most test shots, but less fading and better color accuracy.
My test shots were sharp and vivid with natural depth. The low light makes a bit of noise, but the test images weren't muddy or flat - two common issues we get with budget phones.
Upgrades for years to come
The Galaxy A32 5G is shipped with Android 11 with One UI 3.1. Samsung's customization is quickly getting better with each update and brings deeper integration with the latest Microsoft Office as well as an updated camera application, an enhanced comfort Shield mode that lets the screen display itself throughout the day. Adjusts automatically, and the option to turn off Samsung.
