HOW TO START MAKING MONEY ONLINE WITH GOOGLE ADSENSE

HOW TO START MAKING MONEY ONLINE WITH GOOGLE ADSENSE

Using Google AdSense to monetize your site or program with display ads is one of the easiest and most effective ways to generate revenue. Although it is a relatively simple concept, you need to understand some details for success.

In this article, we will show you how to start making money with Google AdSense. Please note that we only focus on AdSense and optimizing your ads. We're not going to talk about creating a website that generates traffic.

To use this directory effectively, you either need a website that generates traffic, or you need to build one.

WHAT IS GOOGLE ADSENSE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

AdSense is an advertising network that connects publishers and advertisers. Publishers link their sites to the advertising network, which enables advertisers to bid on their ads on those sites. When a site visitor clicks or sees an ad, the publisher pays a certain portion of the advertiser's bid for the ad. Google takes the difference as a fee.

HOW TO SEARCH FOR A BENEFIT ACCOUNT, WHAT SHOULD YOU USE?

Google is very selective about who they allow on their advertising network. They want to keep the quality of the websites high and maintain the integrity of their advertising network.

There are some basic requirements that every publisher must meet. You must be:

-18 years old.

- Has an active Gmail account that is not affiliated with an AdSense account.

-You have a website that complies with all Google Terms of Service.

You must adhere to Google's program policies, but we also recommend some additional requirements to ensure that you are accepted. This includes having a website with at least 30 pages of unique content, three months old, and generating a lot of traffic. The more traffic your website generates, the better and higher your profit potential.

We do not have to go into too much detail about the process of getting an account, as we have already written a complete guide on this.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPROVE?

Publishers are usually accepted within 24-48 hours, but it can take up to 1-2 weeks before they are approved.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF THE DECLARATION OF ACCESS

Once approved, you're ready to run AdSense ads and start generating ad revenue. Before doing so, it is best to understand the different types of ad units. There are five different types of AdSense ad units. This includes in-screen ads, import, in-article, matching content, and link ads.

Display Ads: Typical display ad units that respond to and fit most screen sizes. These ads work well almost everywhere. This type of ad can respond and automatically adjust to the screen size of the device on which it is displayed. It can also be configured to have fixed formats and is compatible with mobile accelerated web pages (AMP).

Provide Ads: Integrated ads that fit into an offer, sidebar, or list. They flow naturally and provide a better user experience.

In-Article Ads: Integrated ads that fit the content of an article without disturbing the reading experience.

Content-compliant ads: Ads that recommend your site content to users, increasing page views, page user time, and their potential to click on your ads.

Link Ads: Ads in a text link format that responds or can be of a fixed size. It shows the topics that are relevant to the content of your site.

CREATE YOUR FIRST ADVERTISING UNIT

Ad units refer to the ad space on a specific website or mobile application where you display your ads. To do this, first, create an ad unit and then add the code where you want the ad to appear on your site.

Creating the first ad unit is relatively easy and we recommend that you start with screen ads.

There are many ways to add ad units to your site. Depending on the site platform you use, you may need to edit the site code to add your own ad units. Some platforms have integrated functionality that supports ads and make it much easier to add ad unit code.

Platforms like WordPress allow you to use various plugins, site plugins, and settings across the page to display your ads through themes. Learn more about the different ways to enforce your ad code.

THOUGHT YOU HAVE TO GO SUCCESS

Success does not happen overnight. Give the system time to adjust and show you its potential. It can take at least a few weeks before the numbers start to rise - if you do the right thing. "Doing the right thing" means:

  • You respect politics
  • Your ads are very visible (IAB recommends at least 70% viewership)
  • You publish high quality and attractive content, which results in a longer session duration
  • You are not filling your site with too many ads
  • You make changes one by one and monitor the impact on performance

When implementing change, your goal is to find out what is negative versus positive. If you do not have the discipline and immediately start an army of change, if something goes wrong, there is no way to find out who caused it.

Allow time for the first release - at least two weeks. Once the numbers are fully adjusted, you can go ahead and experiment with your ad optimization strategies. Some things to consider to optimize or experiment with:

Ad placements. Check out our guide to placing ads here.

  • Ad sizes
  • Ad format or colors
  • Number of ads per page
  • Automatic ads (on and off)

Launch AdSense outside of Google Ad Manager to compete in real-time with the other on-demand partners you have in stock

Start strong AdSense (do not use an ad server)

Experiment again with one strategy at a time - give it a few weeks. Start your reports and focus on key performance indicators: visibility rate and CTR plus overall impact on revenue and CPMs.

Filter bad strategies or strategies that do not work. Keep optimizing until you are satisfied with the figures. Remember seasonally, since the first quarter of the year is the lowest in advertising, you can not compare efficiency in March with April. As the first month of each term, the first week of each month is usually not as good, because then the advertising budgets still adjust.

The bottom line is: make a plan, set a timeline, evaluate the results.

SIMPLE TEST OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUES

Now that you've mastered Google AdSense and are generating some advertising revenue, let's look at ad optimization techniques. Here are two very powerful techniques to consider:

Automated Advertising - AdSense automated advertising is an easy way to optimize your advertising revenue while Google can do everything for you. With automatic ads, Google uses machine learning to automatically inject and optimize ad units on your site without ignoring existing ad units. You can also choose the type of ad to use with automated ads.

Sticky Ad Units - Sticky ads or anchor ads are designed to stay in a fixed position when the user moves down. Implementing ads in this way results in higher visibility and higher advertising revenue for publishers. There are some limitations when implementing Google AdSense. Learn how to place ads on AdSense.

PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT FROM INVALID TRAFFIC AND WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO

Invalid traffic can lead to a refund of revenue generation and publishers will be excluded from AdSense. With revenue-generating refunds, AdSense retains some of its advertising revenue due to invalid click activity, which means you will not be paid for clicks on your ads.

If you thought it was bad to get a rollback, an invalid traffic stop is even worse. If your account is blocked, it means that AdSense will stop showing ads on your site. Restoring your account is also a difficult battle.

You can read more here about how Google determines junk traffic. Junk traffic includes publishers who click on their ads (never), unintentional clicks, click bots, and more.

You do not want to be frustrated if you can not get the right pitch, so invest in a good capo. Many AdSense publishers are not aware of this. That's why MonetizeMore has developed a service called Traffic Cop! Traffic Cop protects publishers from the consequences of junk traffic, receiving revenue cancellations, and being excluded from their advertising bills.

Traffic Cop detects all forms of junk traffic and at the same time prevents junk traffic from seeing and clicking on your ads. We strongly recommend that you take a measure to protect your business from junk traffic, of which Traffic Cop is a very effective and very affordable solution.

HOW CAN YOUR ADVERTISE ADVERTISE?

In the world of ad optimization, AdSense is seen as the starting point for earning advertising revenue. Many publishers earn great deals or full-time revenue from AdSense alone. However, these publishers often have high traffic and/or very high-quality traffic, but they also use advanced ad optimization techniques and additional ad networks to take their advertising revenue to the next level.

We've created an in-depth AdSense course called PubGuru University: AdSense School. There, we teach publishers how to master their ad inventory and maximize their ad revenue by using a step-by-step video approach over the shoulder. Students earn the AdSense certification when they complete the course and pass the final exam!

WHAT IF YOU DO NOT GET A LICENSE AT THE ACCESS OR WILL YOU TEST DIFFERENT NETWORK ADDRESSES?

AdSense can be very strict and sometimes publishers will not have access to the advertising network. It may seem like everything is lost, but there are some alternatives available. AdSense is still one of the best advertising networks out there, but we've found some great AdSense alternatives to try.

You need to have a testing mentality when it comes to making money on your website with ads and optimizing ads in general. Not all ad networks are created equal. Some focus on specific niches or vertical markets, while others focus on traffic from specific geographic locations. It will be different for each publisher.

Our list of AdSense ad networks and alternatives is the best place to start and find out which ad networks the best suit your specific needs.
